I live in Chicago with my rescue pitbull mix, Lucy. I've got a handful of formal degrees: Bachelor's of Arts in English & American Studies; Master's of Science in Library and Information Sciences; and a Doctorate in Health Sciences. My training in letterpress printing comes from the excellent teachers at Spudnik Press, a community studio in Chicago, and I've taken classes in bookbinding and (most recently) relief printing at Lillstreet Art Studio, also based here in Chicago,. I've also got a 6x10 letterpress that is it's own constant temperamental teacher.
