you get as excited as I do when you get to start a new notebook. That's right finally finsished my unlined 3 x 5 brown moleskin and get something a little more exciting! I've been hanging onto this set of 3 notebooks for the summer.

After a Chicago winter, I plan to spend as much time as possible outside. With thirty thousand words into the fourth Ravana book  and the barest plot outlining of a book in alternate world with a main charcater who has grape-colored hair, I have my summer writing still in full gear. I just hope to use the notebooks instead of lunging the laptop outside.

Here's one of the beauties that will see me through the next few months:

Picture
It's a set of three notebooks each with a distinctive cover all in saturated blues and oranges with artwork by James Jean.

I'm odd in that I like notebooks to come with grid lines. They seem less regimented than just "lined" you can still write all over the page like with "unlined," but helps keep the writing a little neater. This will be my first set with just "dots," the covers were so gorgeous I was game to try it.

I picked these notebooks up at one of the FourSided Shops in Chicago at their Clark location. They're always my first stop for cards, gifts and the shop just always makes me smile.

Until next time, Happy Writing!
